Refund Eligibility Criteria
New Subscriptions
If you've subscribed within the last 14 days and haven't extensively used the platform features, you may qualify for a full refund. We consider "extensive use" as accessing more than 25% of available features or generating more than five detailed net worth reports.
Technical Issues
When our platform experiences significant technical problems that prevent you from accessing core features for more than 48 consecutive hours, you're eligible for a prorated refund covering the affected period.
Duplicate Charges
If you've been charged twice for the same subscription period due to a payment processing error, we'll immediately refund the duplicate charge upon verification. This typically happens within 3-5 business days.
Service Cancellation
Should we discontinue a premium feature you specifically purchased, you'll receive a prorated refund for the remaining subscription period. This applies only to features advertised at the time of purchase.

Decision Notification
Within 3-5 business days, we'll email you our decision. If approved, we'll explain the refund amount and expected processing time. If we need additional information or if your request doesn't meet our criteria, we'll provide a detailed explanation and suggest alternative solutions.
Refund Processing
Once approved, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. The actual time for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution. Credit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days, while PayPal refunds may appear within 3-5 business days.
Eligible Scenarios
Billing Error Discovery
You notice an incorrect charge amount or frequency on your statement within 30 days of the transaction.
Feature Unavailability
A primary feature you purchased access to becomes unavailable for more than 72 hours without prior notice.
Account Access Problems
Technical issues on our end prevent you from logging in or accessing your data for an extended period despite troubleshooting attempts.
Unauthorized Renewal
Your subscription renewed automatically after you've already submitted a cancellation request that we confirmed.
Non-Eligible Scenarios
Change of Mind
You've used the platform extensively for several weeks and simply decide you no longer need the service.
Forgotten Subscription
You forgot to cancel before the renewal date, and the subscription period has already begun.
Feature Misunderstanding
You misunderstood what features were included in your subscription tier, but those features were clearly described on our pricing page.
Third-Party Issues
Problems with your bank, credit card company, or internet provider that prevent you from using the service.
Payment Methods & Processing Times
Credit Cards
Visa, Mastercard, and American Express refunds take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement after processing.
Debit Cards
Similar to credit cards, debit card refunds typically process within 5-10 business days depending on your bank's policies.
PayPal
PayPal refunds usually appear in your account within 3-5 business days and you'll receive notification from PayPal directly.
Bank Transfer
Direct bank transfer refunds may take 7-14 business days. We'll need your current banking details to process these refunds.
Processing times begin after we approve your refund request and can vary based on your financial institution's policies. We have no control over how quickly your bank or payment provider processes the refund once it leaves our system.
Important Considerations
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot redirect refunds to different payment methods or accounts.
- Annual subscriptions purchased more than 30 days ago are eligible for prorated refunds only, calculated from the refund approval date to the end of the subscription period.
- If you received a promotional discount or participated in a special offer, the refund amount reflects what you actually paid, not the standard subscription price.
- Accounts that receive approved refunds will have their subscription access terminated immediately upon refund processing. You won't be able to access premium features after this point.
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests from accounts showing patterns of abuse, such as repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds.
- Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider during the original transaction are not refundable as we don't receive or control these charges.
- Tax amounts included in your original payment will be refunded according to Canadian tax regulations and may require additional processing time.
- During peak periods (end of tax year, for example), refund processing times may extend by an additional 2-3 business days.
